meet.js Special Summer Edition is the bigger summer version of the Białystok meet.js meetup: a free, one-day frontend conference. The second edition took place on 25 August 2018, organised by Karol Rogowski, Przemysław Wiszowaty and Maksymilian Zyskowski.

Frontend is an art

A year earlier I had shown DiscoJS there. This time I closed the day with “Frontend is an art”, with even more sound and even more JavaScript. I walked through my projects one by one, from the Checkbox Unicorn extension to LEGO builds with Raspberry Pis inside, and Krzysztof Krawczyk, the Polish crooner, “contributed” to a framework called re.js along the way (a pun on his song “Parostatkiem w piękny rejs”). In her write-up for devstyle.pl, Nela Brzozowska called my talks “really mini-concerts”.

More about the talk itself: Frontend is an art.

Photos

I also photographed the event as Korsan Studio. Some of my photos ended up in the devstyle.pl write-up after the author’s own camera gear failed.
