Programistok 2018 took place in Białystok on 28–29 September. I was on the organising team again, and Korsan Studio supported the conference.

After “Coders Paradise” and “Kodzić chcę” in 2016, the conference got another song. I wrote the words and music for “Mój kod” (“My code”) and performed it with Maciej “Dziemian” Dziemiańczuk. The single came out on streaming platforms on 31 July 2018, and the music video – released under the “Programistok Entertainment” label – went up on the conference’s channel on 7 August.

The lyrics are a love song to code. The chorus goes “My code – so beautiful, my code – nicely indented, my code – always works on my machine, and if it doesn’t? Git pull and run it”, with the slogan “a heart for code, and code from the East”. There’s also a nod to my motto: “I build frontend, because it’s quite an art, after all”.

By the after-party, everyone was singing “Mój kod” along with the earlier Programistok hits.
