After the first year of One Photo a Day I put on my first exhibition – a summary of the 365 photos I had been posting to Tookapic every day since 7 August 2015.

I took photo number 365 on 5 August 2016: I’m holding a “365” sign, prints are hanging all around me, and the frame is full of “old and brand new tookapicers”, as I wrote in the caption. Four days later I uploaded “365 dni korsana” (“Korsan’s 365 days”) to YouTube – a recap of my Tookapic project.

At this exhibition, as at KORSAN:1000 two years later, I told the stories behind the photos in person. For KORSAN:2000 I moved those stories online as “Opowiedz mi Korsi!” (“Tell me, Korsi!”) recordings.

The project was supposed to end after a year. The day after photo no. 365 I posted another one – and kept doing that for nine more years.
